JNPT intends to engage Pilots on Contract basis having following eligibility: 1. Qualification & Experience: Essential: Certificate of competency as Master (Foreign Going) issued by Ministry of Shipping or equivalent certificate and one year experience as Chief Officer of Foreign Going Ships or Ex-Naval Executive Officer in possession of a watch keeping Certificate with minimum of 06 years sea service. Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi. 2. Age: 45 years as on 1st September 2009. Age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates & 3 years in case of OBC's.
