Disciplines: FootBall, Hockey, Cricket, Badminton & Athletics. The posts are temporary but likely to be made permanent. The following categories of sportspersons who have represented in any one of the above disciplines;- (i) State or the Country in the National or International Competition OR (ii0 A University in the inter university tournament conduced by the inter-university / Sports Board. OR (iii) The State School Team in the National Sports / Games for schools conducted by All India School Games Federation. OR (iv) National Awards in Physical Efficiency under the National Physical Efficiency Drive. Age: 20 to 27 years as on 01.01.2010 (Relaxation upto 35 years for Govt Servants in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government from time to time). Relaxation for sportsmen/sportswomen may be allowed in the upper age limit upto maximum of 5 years (10 years in the case of those belonging to SC/ST). Minimum Educational Qualification: i) Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university ii) Should possess Data Entry speed of 8000 key depressions per hour. Those sportspersons who are satisfying the above qualifications/conditions may send their applications neatly typed and furnishing the following information along with two recent passport sized photographs duly attested by a Gazetted Officer. 1. Name in Block Letter 2. Address for Communication 3. Educational Qualifications 4. Date of Birth 5. Sports Qualifications 6. Additional Information, if any. No originals need to be sent but only true / photostat copies of the relevant documents, duly attested should be submitted. Incomplete applications will not be entertained. Only eligible candidates will be called for the performance test and interview. No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates under any circumstances in this regard.
