Selection Criteria: The applicant: * Must be less than 22 years of age as on 1st August 2010 (ie born after 1st August, 1988). * Should have achieved a minimum of 65% in PCM, & 65% overall in his first attempt in XII (10+2). * Should have a minimum of 60% in English in XIIth or Xth Standard. * Who has appeared for their XII (10+2) and awaiting his results may also apply. * Should be physically and medically fit for sea service. * Must have 6/6 vision and no colour blindness.
