The incumbent would be required to evolve and lead a group of investigators that will address questions in diverse areas of biomedical research relevant to cancer. It is expected that the new department will foster collaboration between clinicians and basic scientists in areas relevant to the practice of oncology. Pay Band: Rs 37400-67000(PB-4). Grade Pay: Rs 8900/-. Approx Total Emoluments: Rs 1,08,000/- pm (For Medical category). Rs 88,000/- pm (For Scientific category). Grade Pay: Rs 8700. All officers will be eligible for sharing the Private Practice Revenue in lieu of the NPA as per the existing rules of TMC.
