Job Description
[I] Distribution:
1.CFA Management :
a.Handling the CFA’s.
b.Analysing the cost matrix.
c.He is responsible for the implementing & maintaining the Good Warehouse Practices lilke FIFO.Stacking Norms etc in the Finished Goods Warehouse at the Depots/ C&Fs.
d.Coordination with Sales for ensuring smooth dispatches from CFA’s
e.Addressing issues / grievances of CFA’s
f.Trend analysis
g.Monthly stock requirement and sales trend
h.Indent planning based on the current CFA stock and the weekly sales trend.
i.Closing stock, Billing cycle, etc.
2.Cost optimization & network analysis by using optimization models
a.Cost/case analysis ( Primary distribution & Secondary distribution)
b.Developing Least Cost matrix for Primary & Secondary distribution
3. Super Stockiest & Sales Franchisees:
a.Analyze lifting pattern
b.Indent planning
c.Viability analysis of SS.
[II] Logistics:
a.Efficiency tracking (Plan vs implementation, etc.)
b.Optimum utilization of the vehicle for all load dispatched
c.Cross freighting model & impact
d.Negotiating the freights with the Transport contractors based on the company guidelines.
[III] Inventory Analysis:
a.Analyze inventory carrying at different phases ( Factory / CFA’s)
b.Inventory management to avoid changeovers, cross freighting, etc.
c.Aging Analysis
[IV] Information Technology:
a.Supporting all IT initiative for Business Intelligence implementation
[V] MIS:
a.Prepare monthly MIS to management :
b.Demand vs supply variation.
c.Production Plan vs Actual Production across all plants
d.Analysing variances with appropriate reasoning.
e.Loss of sale due to supply constraints / Issues.
f.Analysing the Cost/case for Primary distribution across factories & secondary distribution for depots.
g.Appropriate action plans for reducing cost.
[VI] Forecasting Techniques:
a.Working out appropriate forecasting models.
