The Senior Science and Innovation Adviser will promote UK strengths in science and Innovation, will ensure optimal collaboration in these areas between the UK and India and will report on science-related developments in India. These are not scientific posts, but the /SSIA will lead on a particular thematic priority (life sciences or engineering) and will work pro-actively to stretching objectives in order to make progress within that field, so will need to demonstrate an interest in and understanding of science.
