Group Lead - Clinical Research Category: Healthcare Support Services Key Accountabilities (Management 100%)
1. Strategic/Policy. Ensure adherence to Cognizant and client SOPs Provide input to Group Lead or Operations Manager, Biostatistics and Programming on resources, scheduling and timelines as required
Provide guidance and coordinate programming activities on the assigned activities so as to yield timely and high quality output
Coordinate and communicate effectively with primary contacts at client teams to ensure satisfactory progress of project work and timely resolution of issues. Operational Provide guidance and supervision to the direct reports for assigned project work; review in detail all work done by them before it is reviewed by global teams. Ensure appropriate distribution of work among direct reports. Ensure completion of training plan for all direct reports. Participate in task forces, initiatives etc. Maintain current knowledge of statistical programming practices and developments in the industry. Enhance other skills such as management, supervision, presentation, communication.3.People Demonstrate and promote Cognizant global value system across all interactions. Provide input into individual annual objectives of direct reports. Provide annual performance appraisals of direct reports and provide regular feedback, if applicable
Desired Profile To coordinate, perform and assume responsibility for all programming activities on assigned protocols and to lead CDM activities for assigned areas. Experience 5 - 8
