Scale of Pay: Rs 16,400-450-20, 900-500-22, 400 (Total emoluments Rs 40,214/- pm). Qualification and Experience: (1) A Master's Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC 7 point scale. (2) At least 15 years of teaching experience as Lecturer (Sr Scale) or Lecturer with 8 years in Reader's Grade along with experience in educational administration. OR Comparable experience in research establishment or other institutions of Higher Education. OR 15 years of Administrative Experience of which 8 years shall be in the capacity of Deputy Registrar or any other equivalent post. Retirement Age: 58 years except in th case of person appointed as Registrar from teaching cadre whose age of retirement shall be 60 years. Accommodation: The Registrar will be provided with rent-free quarter. Selected candidate will have to occupy the same. Nature of appointment: Appointment of the Registrar shall be for a term of five years and shall be eligible for reappointment for only one more term of five years.

Scale of Pay: Rs 10,650-325-15850 (Total emoluments Rs 25,233/- pm) Qualification and Experience: (1) Essential: A Master's Degree in Arts, Science, Commerce or Law of a recognisedUnviersit Institution or an equivalent qualification. (2) Desirable: (i) Essential: A Master's Degree in Arts, Science, Commerce or Law of a recognised Universit Institution or an equivalent qualification. (2) Desirable: (i) Diploma in Journalism (ii) Good knowledge of Hindi, English (iii) Some experience in Public Relations work in a responsible position in a large organisation (iv) Knowledge of Computer. Age limit for the post is not less than 35 years (relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to reserved category) and unless already in the service of the University or affiliated colleges not more than 55 years of age.
