Research Officer (OBC) in the scale of pay of Rs 8000-275-13500 at the Council's Enterovirus Research Centre, Mumbai. Qualification & Experience: Essential: MBBS or MSc Ist Class in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology. Desirable: 3 years research experience in above subjcts as evidenced by publications for MD / PhD. Job requirement: To plan studies on molecular and/or immunological aspects of enteroviral infections. The incumbent should be prepared to carry out field investigations anywhere in India. Period of Probation: 2 years. Age: Below 45 years. OBC candidates are allowed relaxation of age in accordance with Govt of India Rules, in force. Allowances as per Central Govt rules are admissible on the above pay-scale, Private practice is not allowed. Non-practicing allowance as per rules of the Council is admissible to medical graduates only.

Candidates called for interview will be paid second class rail fare by shortest route on production of documents.
