Shipyard Sub-ContractorsCategory: Aerospace/Aviation Sub-codntractors should have substantial experience in any of the following fields: * Fabrication, welding and erection of heavy steel panels * Engine room machinery installation including propulsion and steering systems * System piping in engine room, accommodation and hull, ventilation and air conditioning system * Installation of electrical equipment, switch boards including cabling * Automation system for machinery * Installation of navigation and searching equipment: Gyro compass, magnetic compass etc * Maintenance of yard machineries like CNC controls, Hydraulics, precision drive assemblies, gear boxes, VFDs & PLCs, heavy lathes, milling, boring, shaping and radial drilling machines * Maintenance of heavy transporters used for material movement within shipyard * Operation and maintenance of utilities like compressed air, electrical substation, sanitation, fresh water supply and fire fighting systems. * Blasting and painting operation. |
