Technical Officer II : 2 Posts (1 Reserved for SC and 1 for OBC)Category: Government jobs Location: KSK GRL Allahabad - reserved for sC and EGRL, Tirunelveli - reserved for OBC. Scale of Pay : Rs 8000-275-13500. Requirements: i) First or high second class Masters Degree in Physics / Electronics or BE / BTech in Electrical / Electronics engineering ii) 4 years experience of working in the relevant field in a reputed Research Laboratory / Institute / University. Senior Technical Assistant : 1 Post (Reserved for ST)Category: Government jobs Location: Head quarters, Navi Mumbai. Scale of Pay: Rs 5500-175-9000. Requirements: First or high second class MSc in Physics / Geophysics / Geology or E in Electronics / Instrumentation. Desirable: 2 years experience of working in the relevant fied in a reputed Research Laboratory / Institue / University. Nature of Duties: The selected candidate will carry out measurement of research samples and look after the routine service / maintenance of the instruments in the Environmental Magnetism Laboratory. The prescribed application form can also be obtained from the office of the Registrar by paying an application fee of Rs 100/- by crossed demand draft in favour of Indian Institute of Geomagnetism, New Panvel either in person between 10:30 AM and 5:30 PM on working days (Monday to Friday) OR it can be obtained by post by sending an application alongwith the application fees and a self-addressed stamped envelope of Rs 10/- superscribing "Request for Application Form". For SC/ST candidates application form will be issued free of cost on production of valid caste certificate. Filled in applications should reach the Registrar at the above address within 30 days of publication of the advertisement.
